WHEN PHYSICS & MULTIVERSES COLLIDE

My fascination with quantum physics, metaphysics and multi-dimensional universes yielded this concept of a world tree.

visionary tree of life watercolor painting. watercolor illustration, Watercolor painting, atmospheric, expressive artwork, illustration, visual art, fine art, timeless art, world tree, multiverse, frequencies, world tree, Yggdrasil, Ashvattha, cosmic tree, axis mundi, sacred tree, fertility. "The Genesis Tree" - An editorial Mag Cover Art prototype inspired from new discoveries about the multi-dimensional nature of reality.

Basically, I wanted to see how I could express (in watercolor) how several earths could co-exist at once, at different frequencies of evolution.

The conclusion is that, one stage over the other isn't necessarily bad because there's something to be learned at each stage of evolution but just is the state of things at any given moment.

To give myself some perspective, I imagined that with all the negative energy the world is going through right now (all the red-painted earths below the white tree trunk), it could be simply the growing pains of transitioning from lower frequencies into higher ones (the blue-painted earths in the upper branches of the world tree).

THE THING ABOUT PERIODS OF INCOHERENCE...

Change is often uncomfortable and painful-even in nature. It's not always smooth. However, it IS an opportunity for each person to CHOOSE to grow or explore their inner resilience or remain stagnant. One can also choose to devolve. My humble opinion.

I have to admit, this one was a bit challenging at first in terms of trying to convey onto the watercolor paper what was in my mind. I think I managed the share a fraction of what downloaded through my brush. It's only the first painting though.

If I ever have the time, curiosity and energy to tackle another painting similar to this one, let alone an entire series or a mural,  I'd want to go pretty deep with the details but also subtle. For example, I could weave in calligraphic words, decorative details and integrate multiple layers of universal messages and archetypal symbols as part of a process of discovery.

Night time dreams effortlessly often do this. They can convey multiple levels of meaning within one single word, visual concept, feelings, segment or full story line.  Peter Montana wrote a beautiful book, The Secret Language of Dreams: A Visual Key to Dreams and Their Meaning. (no affiliation) that explores just that.

The illustrator Peter Malone conveying  the meaning of the author and Carl Jung's philosophy through a series of unforgettable, earthy, lush and textured illustrations. One of my goals as an artist is in the future, is to work with several small publishers to illustrate beautiful books with my own inspiring, hand-painted illustrations...

For now, this is a stand alone project. The original size is 18" x 24" on high quality professional watercolor paper ( either Arches or Fabriano). I also managed to make a beautiful 30" x 36" banner print on canvas that's now rolled in the vault, waiting to be hung somewhere special, someday.

Public Announcement: This blog post is part of a collection of 354+ posts from my original Wordpress blog "Dreaming Into Being"  library. I've now retired and migrated it to “Wander & Paint,” my new blog posts at the United Wanderlust art shop.  As time allows, I will be reviewing, editing, condensing, updating and releasing a number of these blog posts but not all of them.

Some posts require more precision surgery than others. I'll also probably be publishing new posts as the muse wills it and father time allows. This whole process may take a while but I think these blog post serve as great documentation of my process and reminds me of certain milestones. So, most of them will be made available again- at some point.
