I absolutely ADORE World Market. Although there exist a handful of shops that are little similar, I haven't found, so far, another store, that comes even close to the transcendental experiencing of their beautiful items.
The whimsical and elegant international vibe of the store guarantees that I'm always either going to be delighted just basking in the awesomeness of the shop's atmosphere or, bring back home just the right item to enhance my home sanctuary.
This time, a pretty French-inspired cup, that now lives in my chest of treasures, becomes the muse for the third colorful study in my altered art journal for the"Everyday Life" research.
I guess that the cup found new life as my muse!
Material: Watercolor, Gouache, pen and ink, collage on altered book page. Approx. 11" x 6".

Public Announcement: This blog post is part of a collection of 354+ posts from my original Wordpress blog "Dreaming Into Being" library.
