It's one of these times when, in hindsight, I wished I had paid more attention and meticulously documented and photographed all the work from this particular artist.
Unfortunately, in the three years I've lived right across the street while attending the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, I don't remember ever catching the artist in the act of creating this collection gorgeous, ephemeral and colorful chalk art!
I had no excuse really. The cafe was literally one block over.
Alas, perhaps someday if I ever find my way back to Minneapolis, I’ll swing by for another Mayan bowl, one of my go-to treats, and be ready with a better camera - if the place still exists and the artist still draws.

In this last close up, I wanted to share the Coop Farms graphic illustration drawn in the bottom center.
Whereas every element in this collection so far is inspiring and well-rendered, this one for me speaks volume to the level of mastery of the artist. So many layers, so much complexity -simply stunning!

Public Announcement: This blog post is part of a collection of 354+ posts from my original Wordpress blog "Dreaming Into Being" library.
